Caroline was born and raised in Northern Ireland.  In a varied career she taught science, maths and needlework in Ghana, ran a table duck business in Dorset, taught law at Aberystwyth University, opened a children’s nursery in Southampton, and, together with her husband, milked Jersey cows in Wales, and made artisan cheese in Somerset.  Finally she has put her feet up and is trying to write!
